The GSE (Ground Support Equipment) cables and liquid helium lines as they enter the nose fairing to connect to the XRS dewar. The cables allow us to monitor the temperatures and control the valves in the Dewar, and the helium lines are used to top off the liquid helium in the insert.

The lower tube is a vent line, where cold helium gas escapes as the liquid slowly evaporates (note the disposable diapers wrapped around it to absorb condensation). The upper tube is the fill line, where new liquid is added to top off the level in the insert.
