Staff of the Astro-E XRT team (1998)
The Mirror Lab is headed by Dr. Peter J. Serlemitsos. Research scientists
include Dr. Kai W. Chan, Dr. Scott Owens, Dr. Yang Soong, all with
Universities Space Research Association (USRA) ,
and Dr. Yasushi Ogasaka, now with the
x-ray group of Nagoya University in Japan.
A team of engineers and technicians provide the
technical support for the mirror research and they also carry out the
actual work of foil production. They include Deneen Ferro,
Rory Grenz, Melinda Hong, John Kearney, Nancy Murakami, Larry Oslen
(technicians' program manager), Marton Sharpe and
Traci Pluchak, of MTI, Mentor Technology Inc.
Curtis Odell of the
Instrument Development Group provides the laboratory's
technical management. Dale Arbogast, also of the
Instrument Development Branch, provides the critical
support of hardware development.

Staff of the Suzaku (Astro-E2) XRT team (2003)
The rebuild mission Suzaku/Astro-E2 started in 2000. Most of the original team members
remain in the staff. Technical staff includes, in 2002 and 2003, the following:
Scientists: Dr. Peter J. Serlemitsos (GSFC),
Dr. Yang Soong, Dr. Kai W. Chan, Dr. John P. Lehan, all with
Universities Space Research Association (USRA),
and Dr. Takashi Okajima, from the Japan Society for the Promotion of
Science (JSPS).
Technical support is from Mentor Technology Inc. (MTI), which also
supported the original Astro-E mission. The technical staff
includes: Larry Oslen, Melinda Hong, Henry Garrett, John Kearney,
Larry Lozipone, Marton Sharpe and Clark Welsh.
Curtis Odell (GSFC) is the Instrument Manager of the Astro-E2 XRT.
Dale Arbogast, of Swales Aerospace, provides the support in mechanical engineering.
